THAI MASSAGE in North London

Thai massage has been taught and practised in Thailand for approximately 2,500 years. This form of massage involves pressure along the energy lines or meridians of the body and compression done in gentle rocking rhythmic movements and also stretching techniques. It has been described as a blend of yoga, acupressure and reflexology.

The aim of Thai massage is to release toxins and waste materials from the joints, muscles and connective tissue and stimulate internal organs by pressure on specific energy points.

Thai massage
is practised on a firm mattress on the floor. The therapist uses both hands and feet to apply pressure to the client's body and carry out a series of stretching movements. The therapist works on the client's energy lines with the focus on releasing trapped and stagnant energy and also stimulating certain energy points so as to encourage the body life force to flow harmoniously and freely.

Thai massage is very, very relaxing. It releases stress and tension. It leaves one feeling totally energised, grounded and with a complete sense of wholeness and well-being.
